Aynsley Corset Teacup - Dark Red with Leaf Pattern and Hand Embellished (6)

 Description: 

    Cup: This cup is gilded in gold with a solid dark red on the outside. White on the inside, there is a printed leaf pattern embellished with hand painting in light green on the leaves and pink in the flowers. The cup and saucer are scalloped. 

    Saucer: The saucer is a solid dark red with gold gilding.

Markings; Aynsley England Bone China back stamp c. 1940-60 on both cup and saucer. Over glaze pen marking on cup C162 (or C182) and a small VI 

Condition - Good - A few small chips on the rim of the cup are notable but not distracting. A few scratches in the enamel of the cup on the outside.

Purchased: Found this one on Marketplace. Friend Tracy and I went to this random person's house to pick it up and ended up paying $10 for it.
